Situated in the Regional Nature Reserve of the Causses du Quercy, our upscale villa or flats are located in Lalbenque (south of the Department of Lot – Occitanie region), 17 km south of Cahors.
We had a favourite for this department, and we chose Lalbenque for several reasons.
According to J. Legros, the Lot is:
“It is the meeting of a curious tourist who discovers almost with the eyes of a child a natural space shaped by rivers (the Dordogne and the Lot).” He adds:
“Here, the notion of terroir truly means something. There is a civilization, an architecture, a culture that is in harmony with the earth, which makes it good, with healthy, tasty and generous products. Authenticity is verified in men and in what mother nature has created...”
He describes so well what we felt when we first visited the Lot, that we couldn’t do without quoting him! As for Lalbenque, its reputation is related to its famous truffle market which takes place every Tuesday from December to March. This market was worth to it the title of capital of the Quercy’s black truffle!
Land of contrasts, the Causses du Quercy are composed of the valleys of Lot and Célé, and a large limestone plateau, marked by caves and gulfs, and characterized by preserved natural spaces, dry lawns and famous dried stone walls.
Imagine the number of beautiful things to discover during our walks ... They are marked with prestigious sites such as Rocamadour or Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, and by dozens of small rural villages. Not to mention many Most Beautiful Villages of France!

Has all the desired comfort, its parking space, its entrance and its own terrace. A separated and common room, serving as laundry, storage room. The owners, discreet, occupy the other part to ensure you a worry-free stay (reception, daily maintenance of the swimming pool, the garden, to give you advice on restaurants, markets, hikes, places to visit , ... ). We are here, at your request, in case of a problem.
